Bounce 'til your legs break

Well.... here's the weekly dose :

New Young Poney Club - The Bomb (Phones Edit) - The new Phone wonder. Dude i'd sooo want to see NYPC in live, and knowing that they now tour with Klaxons... would be neat... but those fuckers decided to stop everywhere but in Montreal. WRRRRYYYYY!

Justice - Phantom (Sidney Looper Remix) - Any guesses about what would phantom sound like if it was designed for Bmore dancefloors? well Sindney Looper gives you a hint. Nice job. Really bouncy.

LCD Soundsystem - Time To Get Away (William Russell Remix) - Another remix of a song on the brand new LCD Soundsystem album, Sound Of Silver. Wait why the hell do i say brand new... it's not even out yet ! I LIKE, HIGH FIVE!

datA - J'aime pas l'art (Remix 2007) - I guess the original version wasn't electro enough for datA... so he decided to give it a lifting. But the litle vocal is not there anymore, its a shame. But wtv its a bomb.

Surkin - Radio Fireworks (Riot In Belgium Remix) - Nice remix of Surkin's killer track Radio Fireworks by the Riot In Belgium folks.

Frankie Valli - Beggin' (pilooski edit) - This song is totally fucking awsome !!!!!!!! it justs makes you want to clap your hands and sing along. Seriously i've listened to it at least 9 times this week (thats a lot for my standards) and i still love it.

Fatboy Slim - Don't Let The Man Let You Down (Justice Remix) - OLD!!1!!1! i know i know... it's just a good song ok ? i felt like sharing

Rick Ross - Hustlin' (Sinden Bmore Remix) - Nice remix of Hustlin', if you like Bmore you will enjoy that.

Britney Spears - Me Against The Music (Justice Remix) - OLD!!1!!1! I KNOW THAT TOO... but like the other one ithink its a good Justice remixx... and yes its britney spears... but... wtv

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc (Mcdj Remix) - At last, a good remix of Feel Good Inc.... jesus crist the other ones are crappy. I've just just came across this one, and i really like it.

[Special Relax Edition] Need Sleep

Sometimes you need to relax a bit, you know, quit listening to Justice for an hour or two... and i didn't wanted to post the typical loungy chillout, or the usual trip-hop or the typical Starbucks/The OC indie,
so here is what helps me chill out right now :

Windmill - Tokyo Moon - I really enjoy that song, there is a real vibe comming out of this song. Plus i like his voice, really special, very weird, but yet it goes with the overall vibe. Anyways, i really feel pumped up after listening to this song, like a big icy gust of wind in your face. Great stuff.

Marissa Nadler - Diamond Heart - Really cool song, kinda cute, perfect for a stressed person. Marissa Nadler as a great voice.

Julie Doiron - I Left Town - Acoustic guitar + Acadian woman = trucker stop show ? well not in that case, Julie Doiron plays in the same league as Marissa Nadler ( I personnally prefere marissa though)

Various - Hater - Well... the good ol' trip hop fans will be pleased with that song. Mellow black singer voice singing over a light but effecient beat made of claps, bass and a beeper. Kinda gives a blues/soul feeling to it. Really nice work

Gruff Rhys - Candylion - Superfurry Animals singer, Gruff Rhys has made an quite suprisingly good LP called Candylion, i enjoyed the whole CD. This song is the most relax song on the album. I like the vibe.

Faithless (feat. Cat Power) - A Kind Of Peace - Beautiful song, a dreamy guitar riff over a simple minimalist beat, the whole thing all tied together by the wonderfull voice of Cat Power. This is one of my fav of the list.

Fairmont - Pavement - Fairmont is a dude signed under Bpitch Control, his music his like..... well.... imagine Das Glow doing more relaxed things, that would be Fairmont. It's not really tech-house, it's not really chillout, it's not really electro, but it really is nice as fuck ! I really love that song, i love the synth, i love the glitches, i love how the whole thing is bundled altogether.

Feist - Mushaboom (Postal Service Remix) - This is the most violent song of the list. This song goes at a hight beat per minute rate, so its quite a fast song for a "relaxed" song. It's the Perfect song to transfer to harder musique to a chillout playlist though. On a striclty objective point of view it really is an awsome remix, very well done.

Don't Believe The Hype

Boys Noize's new single Don't Believe The Hype :

Boys Noize - Dont Believe The Hype

Also i'm posting the Surkin remix, the last version i've posted is a mixed version taken from the "Alors Les Filles On Fete Noel" mixtape
so enjoy the unmixed one :

Boys Noize - Don't Believe The Hype (Surkin Remix)

.

Zamboni Le Effet !

David Byrne, of Talking Heads fame, set up a radio. What a heard 'til now it's pretty rad, sometimes it does get very "iconoclastic". I expected he would go in 'worldly' music and I've been pretty much satisfied yet. If only europeans and americans could stop using that 'world music' étiquette one day... Byrne's fighting for it since 77.

the radio in question can be listened here: http://www.davidbyrne.com/radio/index.php

Enjoy!

(thousand thanks to Cindi)

Brice Lee
Spam (Yuksek Remix)

Bonus :

Yuksek - Little Dirty Trip

.

I'm kinda sick from drinking not not enought so i don't feel like writting much.. but all the songs are DL worthy

Djuma Soundsystem - Les Djins (Trentemøller Remix)
- Trentemøller is a semi-god, everyone knows that, this remix is neat, elegant, classy, the perfect song to get you chillin' like a villain yo.

P. Diddy (feat. Christina Aguilera) - Tell Me (Switch Remix)
- The brand new Switch remix for the upcoming P. Diddy album... this album is gonna be sooooo lame... fortunatly we have top notch remixers like switch to set higher standards. But this is by far not the best Switch remix... it's cool but... not that rad... (if that makes any sens)

Justice - Phantom (Ca$hmere Remix) - Some nice person linked that song in the com section of an other post, and i like this ghetto-ish colour that Ca$mere gave to Phantom

Dj Assault - Yo Relatives - This is a nice song from Mr Assault where he is saying nice things about your familly... (dont spin that song in Italy...... At best you'll get killed)

Midnight Juggernauts - Tombstone
- Those crazy aussies are busting out thevocoder, the keyboards and the guitars to give us a nice chunk of sound.

DJ Mehdi - Signatune (Thomas Banglater Edit V2) - Thomas Banglater is giving Mehdi an edit, just from listening to the kick you know it's Banglater's work. Nice banger

T Palmer - Tasteless
- Cool Ghettotech

Rich Boy - Throw Some Ds (Starkey Mix) - "THROW SOME DEEEEEZ ON DA BITCH" very gangsta, i like the beat it's original

Boys Noize - Don't Believe The Hype (Surkin Remix)
- Another wonder from the little Institubes prodigy

Yoko Ono (feat. Peaches) - Kiss Kiss Kiss - Yes.... its THE Yoko Ono... ya she is back... and with a LP "Yes I'm A Witch" that apears to be really good..... and godamn you can tell the hippy days are over (YESSSSSS).

Justin Timberlake - SexyBack (Linus Loves Remix)
- "not another Justin Timberlake remix" well... ya another one.... and i find it's a good version. And i promise (i'll try) to not post any justin remixes anymore.

KIM - Wet'n Wild (Riot In Belgium Remix) - KIM is half of the Presets, and Riot In Belgium are awsome remixers. The reciepe for success.

The Avalanches - Ray Of Zdarlight
- Basically this is a funkadelic remix of Digitalism's Zdarlight. Very cool I like it very much. The upcoming Avalanches LP appears to be made of things like that. I can't wait until it's done.

Kaspar Schadenfreude - Sex Spastik (Matty's Only 4 Casper mix)
- Big major lifting of Tom Jones' Sex Bomb... not that much of a great track but it's very funny to drop in a mix.

Klaxons - Golden Skans (Surkin Remix) - Another Surkin remix.... Very Very Very cool

Brice Lee - Spam (Invaders Remix)
- another remix of Spam... Invaders is the shit

ya i know i didn't talked much... wtv shut up and dance
